Usually the father of the bride adds a touch of comic flair to his speech by recalling embarrassing anecdotes from his daughter’s past. The problem is, Linda has always been the perfect daughter. She’s never been drunk or disorderly, never stolen money from me and has never once run away from home. If only she took after her mother more.
