Enterprising/Entrepreneurial

Linda has always had an entrepreneurial mind. Her mother and I tried to encourage this from an early age. It succeeded a bit too well. By the time Linda was ten, she wanted to be paid for every good deed. One day, in trying to dissuade her from this behaviour, Linda’s mother told her, “Why can’t you be good for nothing Linda? Just like your father."
