Ladies and gentlemen, thank you all so much for coming to our wedding and for being so generous with all your gifts. Linda will certainly find the lawn mower and electric drill useful and I will make full use of the hair dryer and easy chair.

I’d like to thank you all for your gifts, which are very welcome and will be most appreciated by Linda and me. Especially the dishwasher, which will allow me more time to vacuum the carpets.
