I’d like to say thank you to Reverend Morris. Over the past few weeks Reverend Morris has been seeing Paul and Linda on a regular basis to help them understand marriage in its proper religious and moral context. Paul has also secretly been seeing an independent financial advisor…to help him understand it in its proper economic context. I don’t know who’s praying harder!
I would like to thank the vicar for a lovely service and the vicar’s friend for keeping the weather at bay. I’d also like to thank my two grandchildren for sitting still throughout the ceremony … on days as symbolic as this one, miracles do happen.
